Day 01 : Arrival Bangalore – Mysore
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our representative. Drive to Mysore, check-in hotel. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 02 : Mysore
The palace city of Mysore is well known for its silk. Here, the fragrance of jasmine, sandalwood and incense permeate the air. In the evening we will go to Brindaban Gardens, a very popular tourist spot.
Day 03 : Mysore
In the morning we will see to Sravanabelgola, a colossal 20-meter statue of Gommatesvara carved out of a single stone. Then we will go to Mudbidri, where the magnificent 1000-pillared Jain temple was built in the 15th century. Later we will visit Maharaja’s Palace which has glittering interiors. It has indo-saracenic style of architecture. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04 : Mysore – Hassan
Hassan forms the most convenient base to visit Hoysala temples at Halebid & Belur. These temples were built in 12th century and have many sculpted figures of animals, dancers, musicians. Temples mark the height of artistic creation at the time. Relax at the hotel.
Day 05 : Hassan- Chitradurga
We will drive Chitradurga today. We will start our city tour with Kallini Fort, also known as palace of stone. It is encircled by seven massive walls; the fort has 19 gateways, 38 posterior entrances, four of which are secret. Then we will go to Ankali Math & Chandravalli. Overnight will be at hotel.
Day 06 : Chitradurga – Hospet
Hospet is the nearest town to Hampi. Hampi is one of the magnificent ruined town of the world. The remains of the ancient city are spread over a vast area of 26 kms. There is an interesting stone structure called the king’s balance where the rulers used to weight themselves against gold & jewels which were then distributed to the learned & poor.
Day 07 : Hospet – Badami
After breakfast, we will drive to Badami. Enroute we will visit Pattadakal & Aihole. The cluster of temples at Pattadakal indicates the importance of the place. The temples of Sangamesvara & Virupaksha temple were constructed in 750 AD, they have exceptionally beautiful sculptures & impressive courtyards. Aihole (20 kms from Pattadakal) has numerous Jain & Hindus temples, which range in style from cave temples to simple as well as evolved free-standing structures. We will continue our journey to Badami, overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 08 : Badami
Today we will explore the picturesque town of Badami, which is world-famous for its magnificent cave complex. It is located in a ravine at the foot of a rugged, red sandstone outcrop that surrounds Agastya lake. Explore the rock cut complex of sandstone of the 540-750 AD.
Day 09 : Badami – Dandeli
Dandeli is a natural habitat for wildlife. Safaris in open jeeps into the Dandeli wildlife sanctuary is the best way to view wildlife here. It is home to big cats such as tigers, leopards, and even black panthers, elephants, gaur, deer, antelopes, many kinds of reptiles and a rich variety of birds. It is also a perfect place for white water rafting. After the long excursion, relax at the hotel.
Day 10 : Dandeli – Chikmagalur
Lofty peaks, racing rivers, sparkling streams and the bracing mountain & soothing air, these are the identity of Chikmagalur,the raw power of natural splendour and the beauty of the snow-white coffee blossoms. Enjoy the nature.
Day 11 : Chikmagalur- Madikeri
We will drive to Madikeri, as the Scotland of India. Misty hills, lush forest, acres and acres of tea and coffee plantation, orange groves, undulating streets and breathtaking views are what make Madikeri the ultimate destination. Overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 12 : Madikeri
Today we will indulge ourselves to the local activities like trekking, rafting & angling and shopping etc.
Day 13 : Madikeri - Bangalore
After breakfast, in time we will proceed to Bangalore for your flight back home.
