Sarasbaug is the most famous garden and famous for the Siddhivinayak (Ganapati) temple.
In 1784, Shrimant Sawai Madhavrao Peshwa built a small temple in Sarasbaug and installed the idol of Shree Siddhivinayak Gajanan, the God he worshiped.
Sarasbaug is just next to the Swargate bus station. If you want to visit this place you have plenty of buses to go there or even auto can be hired. It is just 3 kms from the Pune station.
